My bad day started when I decided to take a tata indicom
SMART wireless service. .i am a internet consultant and require 6 hrs
of
internet daily so I decided to take the Rs 1500 plan for my
needs...thought of becoming smart....so I went to
shivajinagar office
of tata indicom and inquired abt the service availability in
my area
baner ..they said fine..and I also asked abt the time
required to get
the connection the sales representative told me it will
take max 5
days..it was fine for me as I needed shortest time to get
online...so I
paid 1000 Rs and applied on 1st july..they I dint get any
response...upon calling ur customer service at 121...I
finally got my
address verification done on 10 th july so I was excited
..the coming
monday 12th july I called up customer care to know my
status...I
received a reply that I should get in touch with shivaji
nagar
office ...so my trips to ur office began...I went there and
I was told
by customer care that my connection was cancelled ...very
bluntly...upon pressing they told me that there was
verification
problem...I was no t availabe for verification...where as I
was present
for the verification.....I asked to meet the seniors for the
problem...I was ignored bluntly...instead they gave me some
numbers to
follow up my 1000 Rs refund....I went to other counter they
told me
that I will get 1000 Rs cheque at the address...I asked them
if for ur
verification am not at that address how come u send the
cheque
there..after lot of arguing ..one person came and said I can
get a new
connection and I can apply again ...I dint have the
necessary
papers..he said its ok but I have to pay more 1000 Rs as the
initial
amount has already gone for refund....as I wanted the
connection badly I
agreed....and paid one more thousand rupees..then after
daily visiting
ur office I got a connection (instrument ) on 16 th of july...atlas...
(more worse things were in store for me)...they installed
...the phone
it worked for two calls then stopped ...they said it will be
rite in
some hrs...I called 121 they said by next morning it will be
ok...I
waited ... it was the same next morning ..no incoming calls
no out out
going calls...I went to shivaji nagar office told them my
problem they
promised to send a technician .,...he dint arrive for two
days..one day
he arrived checked the instrument ,,,,, said it was signal
problem....will be solved in 24 hrs....( the technician came
after me
calling 121 about 5 times).....no one arrived in 24 hrs then
I went
again to ur SN office ..one more technician visited after
two days he
said it will be solved in one day.......how long am I to
wait for the
phone to get working ...so I vested ur SN office again
today...they
said its signal problem and they dont know when it will be
solved ...so
I have to wait...let my work wait ...whenever ur problem
will be
solved ...why couldnt they cheque before giving me the
connection ...or
why cant they tell it will not work there at ur residence
and u better
cancel it save me time and money..........????? so I have
decided to
mail u this so that other customers may not face this
suffering on the
SMArt connection... am going to wait 24 hrs more and cancel
this
connection...... and think that I have invested Rs 2000 in
tata indicom
mutual fund ... wherein tata indicom will be getting the
interest till I
get my money back...Than k you a lot for ur services!!!!

After this
I waited so that the problem may be solved I complain daily
twice to your customer care centre about my problem(every
time I am told that the problem will be solved in 24 hrs)
many such 24 hrs have passed by…am not able to make outgoing
/incoming calls from my phone….no one has got back to me on
it…there is coverage problem….this should have been checked
before giving me the instrument….and now no one knows when
the problem will be solved …or they don’t even convey to me
that the problem cannot be solved ..and I cancel my
phone…how long shall I wait
Please let
me know so that I can get my phone cancelled and get into
the cumbersome process of getting back my Rs 1000 deposit.
The
earlier deposit…am still to get it back
Hope
someone takes notice of the complaint.
Customer
care doesn’t mean a call centre to take the complaints…some
one must attend to it

email i tried all possible emails available on the net+++
of Tata Indicom
Addition to this for the first month i have contacted
customer service on phone every day..got the same answer 24
hrs....i even talked to their floor supervisors ...but in
vain..till to date the phone doesnt work....why dont they
disconnect it when they cant giv the service?? and to add to
this i got the first month bill a....WHOOPING RS
2475.....even when the phone wasnt working???????
The expect me to pay for the service that i havent recieved.....in
the bill even when data calls dont work i have got Rs 400
odd internet bill?????
I have complained about
this...so that they will revoke the bill ..assuming that it
is wrongly billed....but they told me that i will have to
pay the bill...?? isnt it similar to extortion...without
using the service i have to pay the bill....They are here to
make money..or say launder money...am going to Consumer
court!
Why all this hype about
customer care?//??/ enhanced product advertisment..to fool
the public??
